6 Things That You Should Not Do At Karaoke

What is karaoke? Karaoke is a performance where a performer makes fun with friends and colleagues on various occasions. It’s a singing ability in public and it requires some courage to perform in public. Basically, it is connecting sonically with other people. So, are you ready to perform karaoke in public? Just avoid the 6 most common mistakes a performer must not do.

1. Performing Unfamiliar Songs To The Group
Performing songs in a larger audience need familiarity. It means the audience get in touch with songs. In a totally unknown song, the audience feels loneliness and uninterested to the performing song.  Karaoke is a shared experience, and if the audience would familiar with it, they not only enjoy your performance but also encourages you. In that way, someone can comment on the rendition of the song while some might want to join with you. And, if you are singing at a party, some familiar songs would make the party memorable with the active participation of the audience.

2. Leaving Key Songs
In every genre, there are some most popular key songs. Don’t miss the key songs. Key songs bring a larger audience and gaining familiarity with the group. It makes events more enjoyable and cheerful that automatically the song comes to everybody lips.
So, at some point, if you feel nobody is giving attention to your song. Just play the key songs and next moment everybody is heading to your song. In my view, karaoke songs of the 90s are the best key songs for a memorable karaoke performance.

3. Picking unsuitable songs for your voice
Every song has its own quality and range and only a good voice can give justice to the song. In karaoke performance, never choose songs that don't suit your voice. If your voice is too much soft, then in that case never choose to shrill and high-pitched songs. A balanced breath control and a balanced tone are the highly important factors for a karaoke performance. Sometimes, a performer chooses to as solo and trying hard to keep the song up. So, don’t hesitate to call your buddy to perform a group song.

4. Giving less importance to karaoke microphone
Karaoke microphone adds sound enhancement at an excellent level. Some of the best karaoke microphones are Bluetooth enabled microphones which are low weight and great sound quality.
It gives not only good range but also gives a nice flexibility for dancing as well as singing. it cut down the background noise and the perfromer can hear his own voice clearly. Another important feature of the  best karaoke microphone is it gives a good grip which won’t let you down while performing.

5. If you can't Rap, Don’t Rap
The most crucial aspect of the karaoke performance is that choose to rap version songs only if you damn sure about your rap performance. If you lose the track, then it is difficult to pick up the track again.
Rap is difficult, it needs a good pace and a good flow to maintain the track. If you take the example of a rap version of karaoke song ‘’Rapper’s Delight’’ seven minutes long and highly complicated most of the persons lose the track in the first para itself. So, don’t make yourself in a funny situation on the performing day.

6. Don’t leave a single word
Remember each and every word before performing a karaoke performance. Leaving a single word would let you in a dilemma that you have lost the track.

It also gives a wrong signal to the audience that the performer is not a well-versed karaoke performer. If you are unable to remember the word, just silence over there and start with the next word. Murmuring of words again feels awkward and funny the stage. So, memorize and recall every word many times before a karaoke performance.
